We have a herd od 13 now. We had 2 wonderfully dense dark bown boys born this pat summer. They look great. We are expecting 2 crisa in January and 3 more in May! In April we are bringing Roth ( Rothchild) from Ohio to do breeding. We are half owners of him. Our partner is Jim Barker of Sweetbriar Alpacas. You can see Roth on the Sweetbrair website. He chased them for a while, then cornered them. Maybe they were thinking he would go away if they ignored him? Then the boys elected Vincent (with Angus behind to watch) to approach this small creature. Wilhemina (our female ASD) was in turn, guarding Ethan.
